Fourth Sunday after Epiphany

January 28, 2024

CALL TO WORSHIP
Let us give thanks to God with all our hearts!
Let us praise the Lord!
How great are God’s works, full of honor and majesty.
The Lord is gracious and merciful.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
God’s praise endures forever.
—from Psalm 111

OPENING PRAYER
Eternal God, in you we live and move and have our being. Because you have made us for yourself, our hearts are restless until they rest in you. As we look to you this morning, give strength to our gathering that we may better understand your word and more fully live out your will. In your light may we see light, and in your service may we find the perfect freedom of your Holy Spirit, for we ask it in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

THANKSGIVING
O Lord our God, we bring our gifts to you, asking you to bless them so that they may accomplish more than we can ask or imagine. Bless us, too, so that our entire lives tell others of our choice to follow your Son, sharing the same healing and hope that you have offered us. We pray this in his Name. Amen.
