Be Still: A Meditation

Be still
and find your way home.
Don't let the noise of the world consume your strength.
It's good when you do your job,
when you fulfill your duties and responsibilities—
and it's important that you enjoy your work.
But don't drown in what's outside yourself—
always come back.
Gather your thoughts,
immerse yourself in your own depths
and search for the center of your being, the center of your life.
And from this center
you will discover the pattern for what’s really important,
the standard of fulfilment,
the touchstone for wholeness in your life.
