More than six centuries later, wise men from the region near Babylonia were led to the dwelling place of the Most High. But instead of a building constructed of stone or wood, they discovered an humble Child. ✙
At our best, we seek fulfillment in beautiful buildings dedicated to God. At our worst, we seek it in silver and gold and material things. But the Christian religion has always taught us that God is found in the simple Teacher from Galilee, and that we can serve him still by ministering to the least among us. Let us recognize in each other the presence of the Divine, for all God's people are temples of the Holy Spirit.
